In March of 2011, Shane and Austin were tired of being in the best ska band in Reno (Don’t Panic), so they decided to embark on a journey and start Eviction. They spent a few months trying to find themselves- hell, they even had a TROMBONE player for one practice. Eventually they realized they were pissed off and added an overdrive pedal. After they played with Andrew Jackson Jihad, they found a solid drummer in the form of Jacob. He hooked them up with some legit recording gear, and they recorded their debut CD EP “Finding Joy Through Sorrow” in Austin’s grandma’s living room over the winter of 2011/2012.
